Rural Energy Agency (REA) is an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Energy and Minerals of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Its main role is to promote and facilitate improved access to modern energy services in rural areas of Mainland Tanzania. REA became operational in
October, 2007.
On behalf of Rural Energy Agency (REA), Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS)
invites dynamic and suitable qualified Tanzanians to fill (136) vacant posts mentioned below;
1 PROJECT COORDINATOR – 136 POSTS
Job Vacancies at UTUMISHI (REA) 2022 Duties and Responsibilities
- To assess the level of electrification and prepare report on electrified and non – electrified villages, hamlets and social service centres (health centres, schools, business centres, economic activities and water pumps);
- To assess and report implementation status of all projects financed by Rural Energy Fund (REF) in the districts;
- To assess and provide feedback to REA Management on the current and future needs for electrification in the district; and
- To assist in communication and dissemination of information regarding activities/projects for the Rural Energy Agency to the Government officials, leaders and other stakeholders in the district.
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma in any of the fields majoring in Engineering, Economics, Community Development,
Social Studies, Finance, Survey, Project Planning and Statistics; and Full Technician
Certificate (FTC) in Engineering or equivalent.
